AltSub is an independent audio/visual collective based in Chorlton, Manchester. The core of which are Pete, Sam, Owen and Matt.
We are lucky to be bang in the middle of a social circle that consists of Film Makers, Artists, Record Producers, Musicians, DJ's, Photographers and Designers. We fully intend to involve as many of them in as many projects as possible.
In our own way, we try to put back into our community. If you're in a Manchester based band, you're unsigned and you'd like us to film one of your gigs; give us a shout.

Well, we're finally live. After months of planning and one or two minor setbacks (laptop stolen, which meant the site had to be re-built), an idea that I had with Sam back in 2002 has finally evolved into this beast of a project.
We've launched with a handful of videos to get things started; some of it's old footage, some of it's from various college/uni projects. We're going to be drip feeding some live bands we've filmed onto the site as we work through the backlog of bands who we want to initially work with so make sure you bookmark us and come back regularly, there's always going to be something new to watch.

We love music, and we love filming bands. It's as simple as that really. If you're in a band, you have a date lined up and you'd like us to film you then you might want to check out the 'come and film our gig' section of the site. Which we do for local bands, for love, not money.
The paid service
If you're in a band and you'd like us to work with you on producing a scripted music video, a documentary or you'd like us to film a full live gig using live audio, get in touch.
